Lip blush is one of the most misunderstood treatments in permanent cosmetics. It's not about creating a "lipstick look" that you're stuck with forever. It's about restoring lost pigment, defining your borders, and giving your face a natural, healthy glow that doesn't wash off.

Restoring What Time Takes Away

As we age, we naturally lose the crispness of our vermilion border (the edge of the lips) and the vibrancy of our natural lip color. This can make lips appear thinner or more washed out. Lip blush subtly replaces that color, making lips look fuller and more youthful without the need for fillers.

The Color Selection Process

This is where my background in art and energy comes in. We don't just pick a pretty pink. We look at your skin's undertones, your natural lip tissue, and even your overall "vibe." We want a color that enhances you when you're completely bare-faced, but also works as a beautiful base for your favorite gloss or lipstick when you want to dress up.

The Healing Timeline: What to Expect

Day 1-2: Your lips will look bright and possibly a bit swollen. Think "freshly applied bold lipstick."

Day 3-5: The peeling phase. This is the most important time to follow aftercare rules. Do not pick!

Day 7-14: The color "disappears" as new skin grows over it. Don't panic—this is the "ghosting" phase.

Week 4-6: The color "blooms" back to the surface. This is your true result.

Is It Painful?

Most clients are surprised by how comfortable the process is. We use a high-quality topical numbing agent, and many people actually find the rhythmic vibration of the machine relaxing. You might feel a light "scratchy" sensation, but it should never be painful.

Lip blush is a two-session process. The second session at 6-8 weeks is where we refine the color and ensure perfect longevity. Once finished, your results can last 2-3 years.
