Microblading vs. Tattooed Eyebrows: Which Is Right for You?

Autumn Moon
Practitioner & Guide
The question I get most often: "Should I start with brows or eyes?"
The honest answer is whichever one you spend the most time on every morning. If you're filling in your brows for ten minutes before you can leave the house, start there. If you're fighting with liquid liner and losing, start with eyeliner.
Microblading
Hair-like strokes in the brow area using a specialized hand tool. Takes about 2 hours. Results last 1-3 years depending on skin type. A touch-up at 6-8 weeks dials everything in. Best for sparse, thin, or over-plucked brows.
Permanent Eyeliner
Pigment along your lash line, the look of perfectly applied liner, 24/7. Takes 1-2 hours. Lasts 1-5 years. Most clients choose a subtle lash enhancement, though bolder designs are available. Great for watery eyes, allergies, or anyone who just wants to wake up looking done.
If You Can Only Pick One
Ask yourself: what would change my morning the most? That's your answer.
Most clients end up getting both eventually. There's something about waking up and seeing the finished version of yourself without any effort. It's less about vanity and more about reclaiming time and feeling like yourself the moment you open your eyes.
The key is working with someone who reads your whole face, not just the feature being treated. That's how I approach every client.
